Water conservation group WaterAid is launching a new ad campaign called “Water Is Forever.”
In the spot, the group claims that conservation efforts are not enough to save the water we drink.
In addition to water, the ad highlights the importance of water education, and explains how water is the best disinfectant in the world.
“The world’s largest consumer of water is not only the largest producer of water, but also the biggest drain on the world’s resources,” WaterAid President and CEO Andrew Steer told TechCrunch.
“We’re going to tell you what’s wrong with the water industry and how it’s wrong.
Water is not just a commodity anymore.”
WaterAid says it wants to make the case that water conservation is the only way to preserve our water supply.
“If we’re going be able to conserve water, we have to learn how to use water wisely,” Steer said.
“There are so many things that we can do to conserve the water that we drink, including keeping our homes, our cars, our schools, our factories clean.”
The ad is available to watch online starting Thursday.
WaterAid launched the ad campaign to get its message out and to educate the public about water conservation.
The group hopes to reach at least half of the U.S. population by 2019.
It also wants to help people understand the importance and benefits of conservation.
“The people who want to conserve this water are going to need a lot of help,” Steers said.
As part of the campaign, WaterAid has launched a new website, where people can learn about water and other conservation issues.
The website also has a guide to finding and getting help with conservation and water related problems.
The organization has partnered with the National Aquatic Center in Arizona to distribute a set of “Water is Forever” posters to local water conservation groups.
The water conservation agency is also offering a free download of the posters.
