Why does Hawaii have the highest water conservation rate in the country?

Honolulu has one of the highest conservation rates in the U.S., with the average conservation rate per capita in Hawaii at about 5.1 gallons per person per day, according to the Water Conservation League.

That’s higher than any other state in the nation, according the Water League.

This means Hawaii has about 1.7 billion gallons of water in storage, or about the same amount of water as the entire state of Texas, according Water Conservation America.

Hawaii has the most conservation rate of any state, according data from the Water Management Association.

It’s also one of only three states with a conservation rate higher than 10.7 gallons per capita per day.

The other states with higher conservation rates are Nevada, California, and Georgia.
